High School Programs Overview

There will be two programs offered this summer for incoming and current High School students, please read through the following information to see which program is best for your student/s.

Summer Credit Recovery/Remediation 2022 Enrollment

Credit recovery is offered to support students to get back on track to graduate high school. Students who are deficient in credit or at risk academically are highly encouraged to attend summer school. Summer school registration forms will be emailed/sent home to parents/guardians of identified students and are available below. Courses available include:

Get Ready for 9th Grade Math (available for incoming 9th graders only)
High School Math (Integrated Math I, Integrated Math II, Integrated Math III)
High School History/Social Sciences (US History/World History)
High School English (available for incoming 9th - 12th grade students)

Summer Start Smart 2022 Enrollment

MEUSD is offering a 4 week summer session allowing students to engage in fun, enrichment activities that reinforce Literacy, SEL, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math Learning. Students may also have opportunities to participate in recreation activities, projects, and field trips! Students will be able to select TWO (2) courses to take. Courses available include:

Video Game Design
Arts Enrichment
E-Sports
mBots Robotics & Coding

Dates for 2022:

July 5 - July 29 (*Closed July 4th)

The programs will be held Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 12:00 p.m.

Transportation:

Transportation will be provided. To receive bus transportation, select it on the registration form. Bus Routes for Summer Programs will be available on the district website by May 1st.
