MEUSD is committed to the research and implementation of collaborative professional development aligned to student learning and standards that prepares, trains, and recruits high-quality teachers, principals, paraprofessionals, and other staff.

MEUSD staff who wish to attend a virtual or in-person professional development opportunity must complete the MEUSD Professional Development Request Form prior to registration, travel, or substitute requests. This includes submitting the completed form, required signatures, and event details. Be sure to align your request with the Portrait of an Adult attributes and your site or district goals.

- Submit completed forms to the Superintendent’s Office for approval.
- Out-of-state travel requests require board approval at least one month in advance.
